Me and Danny went for a looonngggg walk on Saturday and it’s safe to say I am the definition of unfit.
It’s also safe to say that I complained for about 90% of the time for various reasons:
Number 1 was because I didn’t bring any gloves with me, and of course this meant it was all Danny’s fault for not reminding me.
Number 2 was because I couldn’t see properly with my hood up, but my ears were cold with my hood down, to which I was reminded that I was offered a hat before we left, but like why would I accept that?
Embracing how ridiculous I looked below:

Number 3 was because my back was hurting (baring in mind my back literally always hurts but for some reason today I felt the need to mention it a million times)
The list could go on and on but you get the gist…
Apart from that, we had a really lovely day!
I must have pulled a muscle in my leg at some point though because when I tell you I have been in AGONY all week I’m not exaggerating (for a change). I could drown myself in Dr Salts and Deep Heat and think the pain would still persue. Been limping around the office and hobbling up and down the stairs at work- reminding me how much I would love a stair lift!!!
We were climbing for about 2 hours, weaving in and out of herds of sheep, and I imagine the view at the top would have been beautiful if it wasn’t completely and utterly consumed by fog.
We crossed through a waterfall which was super pretty; on the way back we sat on a rock and watched this for a while. Despite my borderline frostbitten fingers telling me we should continue our walk back down, I felt at peace.
All in all, it was a day of quality time and that’s all that counts. Exploring new places with my fave human being always makes me happy! Many more adventures to come…
